Question 2

Source A is a popular newspaper called The sun who have right wing ideologies. The second headline is placed at the top near the masthead where the date and football content is place, there is a mini article called 'mobile menace’ with a small image placed we see the article is about driving and being on your phone and  just next to this is a football score. On the left side of the front cover there is a sneak peak of another article headlined 'fight on footie poppies' and a Christmas advertisement (relevant to the articles date of november 2018). The main headline involves the recent addition to the royal family Meghan Markle is the centre of the story and The sun presents her in a provocative way, its as if they’re insulting her. The image of Meghan is her wearing  red lingerie but because of the photos detail it seems to be photoshopped, probably false story.
Source B is a front cover from The time a quality newspaper who have left wing perspective. The layout of source B differs completely from source A, being a quality there are no advertisements or other mini articles surrounding the front cover, it only focuses on the main headline about Meghan being part of the royal family and the headline ‘welcome to the family’ really shows the times respects Meghan and the royal family.  Unlike source A the image used in the main headline is more respectable with Meghan wearing a navy styled dress and her mother in a similar attire with a white dress and navy blazer. This article has sub headlines of the left hand side  ‘kindness to mother’ and ‘prince charles in royal wedding,’ the times has so much positive writings towards Meghan and the royal family. While Source A more negativity.
Source B presents togetherness and family bonds with the image of Meghan smiling next to her mother who is also smiling. Along with the stative verb ‘welcome’ creates a comfortable and hospitality feel. Whereas Source A is very provocative with its typography, Source A is more violent and bold than Source B. The font size is bigger on the headline 'Pushy Princess'.
The composition/layout of both front cover sources differ significantly, while the quality 'The Times' focuses on one main topic on its front cover. The popular 'The Sun' doesn't focus on one, all around there are other stories readers can chooses to look through because of the designated pages visible below each other article.
